We are FOR You!

In our world, sometimes it seems like people have lots working against them.

What if we choose to be FOR one another?  What if we seek to understand one another and care

for our neighbors who have needs? What if we give each other hope and a reason to live

Whether you have a need or you desire to serve your local neighbors, we invite you

to make a difference in one another’s lives. Let’s be For Our Neighbor!

Our FOUR Initiatives FOR OUR NEIGHBORS

God is very clear about what is most important. Love God and love our neighbors. CrossRoads Church seeks to do this in our local community in four very distinct and strategic ways that are highlighted below. We are thankful for you our neighbor and look forward to sharing life together with you.

The FOUR INITIATIVES are [1] Adopt our local school Washington Woods Elementary, [2] Provide BIG fun free events, [3] Meet the physical needs of our neighbors, and [4] Repair homes of local neighbors

If every contact with an individual in our community is an opportunity to make a positive impact for Jesus, then CrossRoads Church has made 28,000+ impacts in our community in the past 4 years.  Read more here...28,000 Impacts

Adopt a School

We are for kids and their families.

Some students and families of our neighborhood elementary school have a variety of needs that regularly go unmet. Let’s be good neighbors to those at Washington Woods Elementary School in Westfield, caring for their needs and providing necessary things that make life better, like shoes and food and school supplies.

This fall we provided 122 pairs of  athletic shoes and 85 backpacks for students. Last fall we provided students with school supplies as they started school.  Lots of pencils, markers, glue sticks, and all the rest!

During school breaks we provide FOOD for WWES students and their families. We love our neighbors!

Big Events

We are for fun and friends.

Neighbors laugh, talk, eat, and and do things together - basically, they have fun with each other! And yet with busy schedules and limited resources, we may have little opportunity to get to enjoy one another in safe, fun, and positive environments. Three times a year we will have big neighborhood events so we can build relationships and enjoy one another as neighbors.

Our NEXT  BIG EVENT event will be our 3rd Annual PopCorn and  Punchlines at IMMI Conference Center, May 31, 2024. The venue opens with PopCorn at 6:15pm and comedy at 7 pm. It a free and family-friendly event and features EIGHT outstanding comedians. Event address: 18881 IMMI Way, Westfield, IN 46074

Our most recent BIG EVENT was our eighth annual Pizza and PopCorn Comedy night, February 17, 2024 at Westfield High School featuring three nationally known Dry Bar Comedians, June Colson, Leon "the Jokester" Purley, and our headliner Taylor Mason.

Our other BIG EVENT  was our Wild, Wild Westfield Fall Fest and Premier Chili Cook-Off  held  Saturday, September 30, 2023, 4-7 pm with great food, inflatables, games, petting zoo, and LIVE music...along with Manny the Mechanical Bull!   It was a FREE event. We featured a CHILI-COOK-OFF and cash prizes for our top three winners were awarded.

Thank you to all the families who attended this event in past years!

Home Repairs

We are for helping neighbors fix their homes.

Some of our neighbors have home repair needs that go unmet which cause them great concern. Sometimes these issues may even keep them from getting in and out of their homes safely and may require them to move out.

In the summer of 2021 CrossRoads repaired 30 homes in our local area.

In the JUNE of 2023 we repaired 23 homes of our local neighbors in Sheridan, Westfield, Noblesville, Arcadia, and Cicero.

When we look for the best in a person we happen to be with at the moment,

we are doing what God does all the time. So in loving and appreciating our neighbor,

we are participating in something sacred.   -MR. ROGERS
